Distinguished Law Professor Promotes Sanctity of Human Life at 2015 Institute

As part of the 2015 Law, Justice, and Culture Institute, Dr. Morse Tan, professor of law at Northern Illinois University, spoke to students on a Christian view of bioethics. Dr. Tan is known for his eloquent and passionate defense of the sanctity of human life, making him an exceptional voice in his field. Institute students listened intently as Dr. Tan discussed how landmark legal decisions involving the issue of life have affected America’s cultural landscape. He also addressed commonly-held pro-choice misconceptions about abortion, offering responses based on a Judeo-Christian worldview. Following Dr. Tan’s presentation, students had the opportunity to ask him questions about his experience in the arena of bioethics and his work on behalf of the unborn.

In addition to his professorship at Northern Illinois University, Dr. Tan serves as Chairman of the Center’s board.
