Executive Director Charlie Emmerich To Moderate Roundtable Discussion

The Center for Applied Christian Ethics and the Penner Family Foundation will be hosting a roundtable discussion titled “What are the Greatest Moral Challenges of the Next Decade?” on Thursday, September 2, at 7 p.m. in Edman Chapel on the campus of Wheaton College. Moderated by Charlie Emmerich, the roundtable discussion and Q&A will feature:

  • “Progressivism’s negative effects on morality” (Dr. Larry Arrn, President, Hillsdale College)
  • “The bioethical challenge of human enhancement aims to make us more than human” (Dr. John Kilner, Director of Bioethics Programs, Trinity International University)
  • “The new media translate us into their image and likeness, and we can barely recognize our true selves any more” (Dr. Eric McLuhan in association with the University of Toronto)
