On Saturday, November 12, 2011, Dr. Susan Emmerich will lead “When Heaven Meets Earth: A Creation Care, Conflict Management and Sustainability Practicum” at Wheaton College, in Wheaton, Illinois. This one-day practicum will explore biblical principles of stewardship and conflict management based on Emmerich’s faith-based stewardship work on Tangier Island shown in her newest film When Heaven Meets Earth: Faith, Environment and the Chesapeake. Participants will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to apply these methods and principles at the community level.
