On May 29, 2015, over 80 people attended an uplifting Institute graduation dinner which featured inspiring testimonials from three Law, Justice, and Culture Institute graduates—Christian Perry, of Trinity Christian College; Ike Fink, of Olivet Nazarene University; and Noemi Venegas, of Judson University. The evening’s keynote message was delivered by Dr. Fred Beuttler, former Historian for the United States House of Representatives. Dr. Beuttler highlighted significant examples of Christian faith in action in our nation’s Capital. Dr. Beuttler accepted the Center’s 2015 Christian Citizenship Award on behalf of his parents, Fred and Doris Beuttler, both tireless and faithful supporters of the Center and its mission. Dr. Charlie Emmerich, Executive Director and Founder of the Center, then presented another Christian Citizenship Award to Richard and Dorothy Jones, co-founders of Faith and Finances for Kids, a program which equips children and their parents with biblical principles of financial stewardship. The Jones are long-time supporters of the Center.
